Meet The Characters

Jack Jr – The Son of a Gambler

Jack grew up knowing that his father’s risky dealings could one day come back to haunt them. When the mob finally caught up to his father, Jack was left to pick up the pieces. He spent his teenage years bouncing between shady jobs and underground circles, learning survival the hard way. Despite the bitterness in his heart, he refuses to fully embrace the criminal world, clinging to the idea that his father’s mistakes don’t have to be his.

Ms. Ruby – The Shadow Investigator

Ruby’s mother lived a double life—by day, she was a quiet journalist, but by night, she donned sequins and heels to infiltrate clubs for leads on criminal activity. Her obsession with exposing corruption ultimately intertwined with Jack’s father’s downfall, though Ruby never knew the full truth until much later. Ruby has inherited her mother’s curiosity and talent for slipping between identities. She now works as a private investigator, but the ghosts of her mother’s past still haunt her, especially when she uncovers a case tied to Jack’s family.

Gabby – The Fallen Heiress

Gabby wasn’t always a wandering free spirit. She was born into privilege—her family’s wealth meant sprawling estates, elite schools, and a future that was already mapped out for her. But fortunes change, and hers collapsed in a spectacular downfall. A single bad investment, a scandal, and suddenly, everything was gone.

Faced with a life where money no longer solved problems, Gabby embraced the philosophy of living without attachment. She traded luxury for simplicity, finding solace in nature, music, and the unpredictability of life on the road. Though she wears her carefree attitude like armor, there’s always a part of her that remembers what she lost—and wonders if she’ll ever truly be free of it.

Danny Jr – The Hustler’s Son

Danny’s father ran the best dice games in the city, the kind where fortunes were made and lost in a single toss. He grew up in the shadows of alleyway deals, learning how to read people and keep things moving when tensions ran high. His father taught him the golden rule—never roll unless you know the odds.

But the world of underground gambling wasn’t forgiving. When his father’s luck ran out, Danny had to step up, using every lesson he had absorbed to carve out his own place in the city’s underbelly. He knows how to smooth over conflicts, fix problems before they explode, and—when necessary—walk away before things turn bad. He’s loyal, street-smart, and always calculating the risks.
